Bouchon Granito Semillon

This is a top wine, using only the granite soils in the estate microterroir. The old vines have deep roots, somehow bringing out the minerality, it is dry-farmed, using Semillon, one of Chile's heritage grapes. Unique and not to be missed and is one of Bouchon's signature wines and one of winemaker Cristián Sepúlveda's (chosen winemaker of the year 2018 in Chile) pet projects.

Absolutely stunning, first place in Chile's 2019 Descorchados wine guide and multiple award-winner worldwide.

Bright yellow colour with golden highlights. Ripe lemon and pear fruit flavours with well integrated subtle oak notes, extremely well structured and complex.

This is a top wine, using only granite soils in the microterroir. The old vines have deep roots resulting in a wine with a tense  minerality. Dry farmed, using Semillon, one of Chile’s heritage grapes, this is a unique wine, gaining first place in the “revelations” category of Descorchados, the top Chilean wine guide. Not surprising really, considering Bouchon’s Cristián Sepúlveda was chosen Winemaker of the Year.

Simply a delicious white, full of white fruit and honey with an oily texture, lovely acidity and great depth. The longer in the bottle, the better.
