Anne Santi Raspato Pet Nat

Pétillant Natural wines are very trendy, and like all trends, we were very sceptical. However, having tried this we were won over. Pétillant Naturel (also known as Méthode Ancestrale) is probably one of the oldest methods of making wine known to humankind. It is bottled before primary fermentation is completed, without adding any secondary yeasts or sugars. Pét Nats are often unfiltered and cloudy, rustic and simple, with a freshness and full, grape-y flavours. The Anne-Santi Pét Nat, made from Sangiovese (80%) and Aleatico (20%) organically farmed grapes, is slightly cloudy with an orangey-pink hue and has a delicate spritz with fine well-lasting bubbles for a Pet Nat. No sulphites. Sublime.
